The U.S. military is using Mindfulness-Based Attention Training (MBAT), developed by neuroscientist Amishi Jha, to improve focus, resilience, and performance under stress. Studies show that soldiers trained in MBAT have fewer attention lapses, better emotion regulation, and improved shooting performance under pressure. MBAT is now included in basic combat training and has been delivered to senior Army leaders.
